Pokot Ash Yogurt
The Pokot community, farmer and breeder living on the Kenya upland, 400 km in the South area of Nairobi, produces a yogurt unique in the world, made by goat or zebu milk added with ash produced from the bark of a sacred tree, the Cromwo.
